summer garden

Christian found my camera cord. Bless him.

Some of my new plants:

My garden:

Work it, plants, work it.

My vegetable garden:

I have two kinds of tomatoes, a kung pao chili, a habanero chile (Christian picked this out, of course), one pole bean (the others died in the heat), basil, and oregano. It's a small vegetable garden, but it's a start!

(Scratch that. I lost the pole bean. I knew I should have watered before I left this morning. Oops!)

Wow Molls what an awesome garden. We keep talking about planting some veggies, maybe now we'll do it.

I've been away too lone, your porch looks great. I think you take after grandma Adrian.

I would LOVE to take after Grandma Adrian. For those of you who didn't know my Grandma Adrian, she was my favorite person and her garden was like a jungle. Honeysuckle, lemon drops, and 8-tracks. I think I need to do an entire post about her.

I love your garden! It looks beautiful... you're really using your space to the best of its potential. Oh, and are 8-tracks really a plant?

Oh, those were just the things that remind me of her house. Honeysuckle plants, the lemon drop candies, and listening to her 8-tracks (ancient cassette tapes).

it makes me feel so much better to know that someone else is relegated to planter boxes for a "garden". at least you have enough sun to grow vegetables...

oh, and i love your diversity--trees, succulents, herbs, flowers and veggies, fruits--awesome!

i like to believe that since i'm using my "talents" someday god will let them multiply and i'll have an acre of beautiful rich soil and tons of time...
